Cash on Delivery - Truck Company

Welcome to Cash on Delivery Demo, a game about managing a truck company from top of a world map.

Accept transportation requests

There are 2 types of goods: general goods and fluids. They require different truck types. A transport request could require to deliver goods to a destination or pick up goods to bring them back. Express contracts need fulfillment faster than normal contracts. Long distance contracts can take longer and require the driver to sleep in the truck cabin.

Plan tours

Select the destinations, the truck, the trailer and its driver. Ideally fill the truck completely with goods for delivery (out-bound) and for pick up (in-bound). Drivers may only drive a certain time per day. Not all trucks have a cabin for sleeping. Try to optimize the required driving time by arranging the order of the contracts. Trucks will not drive on Sundays. Drivers will go home at the evening if not on tour yet.

Hire more employees

New drivers required for more trucks. Place advertising for open positions to get job applications some days later.

Expand your fleet

Raise the capacity your fleet can transport by buying new vehicles at the local dealer. Need a vehicle for long distance tours, then buy a semitrailer tractor. Only those have sleep cabins.

Maintain your fleet

Keep an eye on the conditions of your vehicles. Change tires when they are worn out or risk a time consuming defect or expensive fine.

How to play

Use a combination of mouse and keyboard

• w,a,s,d to move the map (hold shift for faster movement)
• Mouse scroll to zoom in and out (hold shift for faster zoom)
• Space to fast forward time
• ESC to enter game menu

Quickstart

1. Fast forward some time (Space bar), till a number shows up at mailbox icon
2. Access mailbox and accept your first contracts
3. Open tour planing and send a truck with the contracts
4. Repeat and make money
5. Expand with more trucks, trailers and employees
6. Make more money ;)
